Gardening

I have been trying to revive my garden this year, after several years of neglecting it - partly in favour of doing computer courses! I went on a Saturday gardening course at Kirklands in Fife in early May; I really enjoyed the course which was called "Vegetable Essentials". As the courses are a newly started venture by Peter Hart, I was the only person there, & I had a wonderful day, looking round his garden, with lots of hands-on potting, planting out etc. It was topped off by a wonderful lunch prepared by Peter's wife Gill.

In Edinburgh we have some wonderful gardens including the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. We have a lovely local garden called Dr Neil's Garden which was developed by 2 doctors over many years - it's in a stunning location between Arthur's Seat & Duddingston Loch, a very peaceful setting.
